St. Louis, Let's Play Ball!

Three years ago when I came to St. Louis, I came huffing and puffing, crying and screaming. Let's just say, I wasn't a happy camper. I was the kid at school who was doing what she needed to do to get by, but now....now, I am going to start jumping off stages...lol. No, jokey joke...I'm going to put my best food forward and really get to know St. Louis. I am ready to play ball!
It's funny because I have been associating St.Louis to the likings of a man, who tries to pursue you, pursue you, and pursue you, and finally you say....alright, i'll go on a date with you. And then you go on another date, and then you say...hmmm, you're kind of cool, not my actual type, but you make me laugh, and you make me want to get to know you more. So, I guess we are at that stage where we're going steady...hahaha. Who says going steady??!! We are dating, lol...I swear, sometimes I sound like an 80 year old woman.
For awhile there, I was ready for our family to pack our bags and head back to the east coast. But, that mindset has changed, I'm now in a full-fledged relationship with St. Louis, looking forward to the endless opportunities of fun we could have together...haha.
St. Louis, I am ready to get to know you more, accept the fact that you are not perfect, but you have shown me that you have a lot to offer, and I'm open to where this connection will lead us. (I am soooo ridiculous).
St. Louis, let's play ball!
As it relates to this look, I bought this hat from Old Navy's men's section, and it has been my go-to hat this summer! Anytime, I just want to run out of the house and not really mess with my hair, this hat has been my savior. And my new blue converse shoes! I love how they give me that casual, but modern look to any outfit. This is a versatile and comfy shoe that everyone is wearing, but not in blue! You will see everyone has them in white, so I wanted to get them in a different color, to show my rebel nature...haha. Nah, the blue just made sense to me. White shoes always get so dirty!
I am wishing you an amazing Saturday, and wherever you are, choose to play ball with your city. Who knows, you might fall in love with your town in ways that you would have never imagined. 'Till next time love bugs!
