She Believed...

I think I can...I believe I can...Because I Believe....I will
There was a time when I was so afraid to tackle my garden because it was out of my comfort zone. I didn't want to do it because I didn't think I had the skills or the know-how to successfully plant flowers and grow them. The front of my house looked a bit neglected in comparison to my neighbor's and I told my husband that I was going to hire a landscaper to help us. My husband disagreed and said, "Kayra, figure it out the same way you do everything else." It wasn't what I wanted to hear, as I was already looking to service this out, but I decided to do a bit of research on gardening, and after a few videos and blog posts, I planned out my week and tackled my garden with focus and the belief that I could do it on my own. What changed? What was different than before? The answer is ---- my belief and my overall mindset about the task at hand.
Lately, I have been listening to a lot of Jim Rohn, a famous motivational speaker who shares core principles about success and wealth. Every time I run or I am in the car, I try to immerse myself in his teachings and really work on my mindset. I started this blog almost a year ago, and I am very proud of my consistency and overall commitment to what I started, but I am learning that I have to kick it up a notch, and work even harder than I have been doing.
I ask myself questions like, "What else do I need to do? How else can I become more effective? What else do I need to read and what other event do I need to attend? All of these questions are valuable and their answers do bring some level of value to how I could improve as a blogger/ influencer. But, according to Jim Rohn, he shares that the most important thing I need to worry about is becoming a better version of myself, and in doing that I will attract the success I desire. Hmmmm...a better version of myself? Ok, what is that? Apparently, I have a core set of talents and all I have to do is work on what I already have. He talks about our communication skills, the way we take care of our bodies, the efficiency in our daily life, and our ability to show up every day with the best version of ourselves. Well, that is a goal worthy of shooting for. I love a good goal, and I BELIEVE I can achieve this worthy goal.
I WILL BE THE BEST VERSION OF KAYRA!
It will be my way of saying thank you to GOD for blessing me with life and for blessing me with another day to experience this world. It will be my dance for life, for joy, and for the loved ones in my life who are no longer here, but are watching me from heaven and cheering me on.
As the bracelet on my hand says, "she believed she could, so she did."
This post was inspired by my bracelet from shebelieved, com, and they lovingly reached out and sent me this beauitiful bracelet. I will use it as a reminder of my goals and how believing in myself is the best thing i can do for myself.
Thank you for reading this post and I hope that you believe you can as well!
