I don't know about you, but I had some serious FOMO (fear of missing out), as I saw all of the pictures on my instagram of the fabulous time, people were having at Coachella. And for me, it's more about how badly I just wanted to dress up for the event.  Now, don't get me wrong, I would enjoy the music and the overall experience, but I just want to be festive, I want to have an excuse to dress up in a non-typical way.  Bring on the glitter, the flower crowns, and the colorful clothing. I want it ALL!!!  

Unfortunately, reality strikes, and my mama-behind can't just pick up and go to every festival, but you better believe if there's something slightly "festival-like" in my area, my butt is going to dress up "festival-inspired."  Below, you will see three looks that I would wear to local events this spring/ summer, that show other's, "I can get festive on ya!"  hahahaha

I think some key "festival inspired" items to add to your wardrobe are headbands, bohemian rompers, distressed shorts, lace/ see-through tops, bralettes, and platform shoes.  There are plenty more, but these are some of my faves!  I hope you have a great day, and these looks serve as inspiration for your next "festival inspired" look!
